But on Thursday, Kelly Killoren Bensimon played willing fashion connoisseur when she sat in the front row for the Nicole Miller show in the the lead-in to New York Fashion Week.
And once again, the 50-year old let her presence be felt — this time in a stylish purple dress.
The eye-catching number hugged her upper body just enough to show off her toned figure, but from the waist down the designed loosened up to show off the light fabric.
She matched it with a furry grey and brown shawl that hung off her shoulders, as well as with a pair of gold strapped heels and matching purse.
After striking a few poses for photographers, Bensimon sat alongside model-actress Veronica Webb and fashion writer Helen Lee Schifter for the show.
Also on hand soaking in all the new designs from front row view together were actresses producer Alysia Reiner, Christiane Seidel, and Jill Hennessy.
Former 1980s supermodel Carol Alt and fellow Sports illustrated Swimsuit Edition model Roshumba Williams were also on hand the event.
Bensimon also attended the Badgley Mischka show, where she sat next to Saturday NIght Live alum Molly Shannon.
