Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz led the winners at awards show, as screen star Olivia, 44, was named Actress of the Year for her role as Queen Anne in the drama film, while Rachel, 48, was awarded Supporting Actress of the Year for her performance as Lady Sarah.
The Favourite, which picked up 10 nominations, swept the board with four gongs, featuring British/Irish Film of the Year and Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara’s Screenwriter of the Year award.
While scooping the most awards, Yorgos Lanthimos’s dark historical comedy lost the top Film of the Year award to critically acclaimed drama Roma.
