The year 2019 has started on a great note for Vicky Kaushal as his film Uri: The Surgical Strike has turned out to be a huge success at the box office. In just a week of its release, the movie has made more than Rs 70 crore at the box office. The movie is headed towards a blockbuster status and might soon hit a century at the box office. And earlier today, his Raazi co-star Alia Bhatt, along with her mother Soni Razdan, attended the special screening of the movie at Sunny Super Sound.
After the screening, the two are seen sharing a warm hug and the pictures of which are slowly gaining traction on social media. It seemed like to be a special screening arranged only for Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan.
The week one collection of Uri: The Surgical Strike is more than that of last year’s blockbusters like Raazi, Stree, Badhaai Ho and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. You can read the full box office report here.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. Her another release of the year is gonna beBrahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
As far as Vicky Kaushal is concerned, he will soon start preparing for Karan Johar’s Takht where he’ll be seen playing Aurangzeb. The big budget multistarrer also features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
