Peter Stefanovic paid tribute to his wife Sylvia Jeffreys on their second wedding anniversary on Monday.
The 37-year-old TV journalist shared a sweet selfie of himself and his 32-year-old wife resting her head against his.
‘Two years on and I love her more every day. Happy anniversary @sylviajeffreys,’ he captioned it, adding a love heart emoji.
In a 2016 interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Sylvia revealed it was a case of love at first sight for the couple.
She said they had been slated to host the Weekend Today show together over the Christmas holidays, and that’s when sparks flew.
‘We sort of bumped into each other in a car park at Channel Nine one day before we started hosting together…’ she told the newspaper.
‘I think it was pretty obvious, certainly was to everyone around me – my mum and my sister, in particular, knew that there was something there.’
The two later got engaged during a 2016 holiday in France, with Sylvia telling The Sydney Morning Herald Peter got down on one knee in a vineyard in Bordeaux.
They were then married in April 2017 in a picturesque ceremony in Kangaroo Valley on the New South Wales south coast.
