He is the British musician making waves around the world with his unique blend of punk, hip hop, and pop sounds.

And Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, has joked about breaking wanting to break his arm at an Australian show on Thursday’s episode of The Project.

Back in October 2018, the 20-year-old broke his ankle in front of an audience at the Austin City Limits music festival.

Speaking of the moment, he told the panel: ‘That was painful, that was really painful. But man, that’s just part of the show isn’t it. It’s like these shows are getting a bit boring and I break my ankle.’

‘What are you going to break tonight?’ The Project host Waleed Aly jokingly asked.

‘Probably my arm for no reason,’ Yungblud quipped, then laughed: ‘It’s just tabloid rubbish just to make sure people are listening to me.’

The energetic artist also spoke about his music and how he hopes to unite people instead of divide.

‘My version of punk is, I want to be loud, I want to be in your face, but I want to unite people and bring people together because that’s what’s important to me,’ he said.
