‘I’m relying on my body!’ Gogglebox’s Yvie Jones reveals why she will survive the I’m A Celebrity jungle longer than co-star Angie Kent

Gogglebox star Yvie Jones has revealed why she believes she could outlast her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! cast-mates in the South African jungle.

Speaking to TV Week magazine on Monday, the curvaceous reality star said that her weight gives her an advantage over fellow camper Angie Kent when surviving on minimal food rations.

‘I’m relying on my body. Someone like Angie is going to struggle, as there’s nothing on her. But me, I could last four months out there,’ she mused.

Yvie also said that she expects to lose a few kilos during her time in the competition, and admitted she ‘wouldn’t be cross’ if she lost a bit of her ‘wine belly’.

It’s not the first time Yvie has spoken candidly about her weight.

Earlier this month she revealed to TV Week that she underwent a gastric sleeve surgery in 2017 following years of yo-yo dieting.

It comes after the reality star shared details of a horrific dating experience with fellow camper, Richard Reid, during an episode of I’m A Celebrity last week.

She said: ‘I had a guy once say to me on a date “maybe you should just go for a run” out of nowhere.’

Richard was left gobsmacked by the date’s outrageous remark.
