The remaining judges of Strictly Come Dancing are reportedly going to have a say in who will join them on the judging panel following Darcey Bussell’s departure.

Usually the casting decisions would be left to the executive producers of the hit series but according to The Sun, Bruno Tonioli, 63, Craig Revel Horwood, 54, and Shirley Ballas, 58, are going to be involved with the recruitment process.

In order to brainstorm, on who will be the newest professional to dish out scores and critique performances, the trio are said to be scheduled to meet with the producers in June.

The publication added that the ‘shows executives will have the final word in who is chosen’ and they ‘want to keep the other judges happy.’

A show insider told that it is ‘imperative’ the judges ‘all agree and get on with’ the new addition.

MailOnline have contacted representatives for the BBC for further comment.

Darcey stepped down as judge on the BBC show after seven years, yet insisted there is no bad blood with producers.
