Novak Djokovic: I will speak to Roger Federer after Rafael Nadal complaint

NOVAK DJOKOVIC has confirmed he will seek out a meeting with Roger Federer after Rafael Nadal complained the player council was not doing enough to consult the top players.

Djokovic, president of the player council, is dealing with a potential revolt against ATP Tour chief Chris Kermode.

A leaked email, reportedly sent by ATP player council member Vasek Pospisil, has called on players ranked between 50 to 100 to join forces to oust Kermode.

A vote is set to be cast at the end of the month to decide on the future of the CEO.

But Federer and Nadal both confirmed that they have not been asked their opinion on the matter.

And they suggested Djokovic, who is president of the player council, should do more to get the top players involved.

Federer revealed he will be hoping to set up a meeting with the current world No 1, who was in agreeance that it needed to happen.

“We will speak,” Djokovic said.

“As I said, we didn’t have a chance to speak so far, but we’ll see each other here.
