Inter Milan have yet to receive any offers for Arsenal target Ivan Perisic .

Winger Perisic is keen to leave the San Siro and has been offered to the Gunners but Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta insists he is yet to hear anything.

‘It’s difficult to keep a player that wants to leave,’ he told Sky Sports. ‘But in this moment there are no offers for Perisic.’

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is trying to get deals over the line before the transfer window closes on Thursday night and Perisic, who helped Croatia to the World Cup final last summer, has long been linked with a move.

Barcelona’s Denis Suarez and Paris Saint-Germain’s Christopher Nkunku are also on the radar and Emery said on Monday: ‘We will sign between zero and two players.

‘We are speaking two months ago with this possibility but we know that it’s not easy.

‘The club is working with the possibility with different players. I cannot say exactly the players but they are players with the possibility to help us, who can play as winger, right or left.’

Emery has also been left light at the back following injuries to Sokratis and Laurent Koscielny against Manchester United on Friday with Hector Bellerin having already been ruled out.

But on the possibility of signing a new defender, Emery added: ‘We have enough players like a centre back in the squad.

‘We are having a lot of injuries in this position but we have enough players. If we can bring another player and all of the players want to play, we will have a problem in the future.’
