She will forever be associated with her starring role as Winnie on The Wonder Years.
But on Thursday, Danica McKellar took on another big role as she walked the runway at the American Heart Association’s annual Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection as part of New York Fashion Week.
The 44-year-old wore a fabulous sleeveless nude gown featuring a plethora of red stripe patterns by designer Oliver Tolentino.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Danica had shared photos of herself in two other dresses by Tolentino.
She explained in the caption: ‘These @theolivertolentino gems were runners-up for the couture dress I’ll be wearing for my walk down the runway this Thursday during Fashion Week.’
Then she added: ‘(I can’t wait till you see what I’m wearing – it’s so different for me!)’
Her form-fitting dress had a fishtail skirt and a small train that flowed out behind her as she walked.
She wore her long brunette hair in an updo with trailing tendrils and accessorized with dangly diamond earrings.
The actress was one of two dozen celebrities who participated in the Macy’s sponsored event hosted by Padma Lakshmi.
