Bebe Rexha revealed her surprise at the ‘love and support’ she received after designers refused to dress her ‘too big’ size 8 frame for Grammys 2019.
Initially the singer, 29, took to social media to tell her story which secured her heaps of support and love from people across the globe.
In her first interview with PEOPLE, the In the Name of Love hitmaker
Bebe told the publication: ‘I really just wanted to share my story and how frustrated I was. I never expected to receive the amount of love and support that I did.

My main thing is I just need to feel good! My date will be my mom, dad
‘They’ve been there for me through everything, so I want them all there for this. We will be celebrating no matter what, win or lose.’
It comes after Demi Lovato showed her support for her fellow singer after she blasted unnamed designers for refusing to dress her ‘too big’ size 8 frame for the Grammys.
‘F**king preach!!!’ Demi tweeted on Tuesday. ‘Love this and you for speaking your mind and using your voice!!!.
One day before Bebe took to Instagram to express her disgust at the labels for body-shaming her.
‘I’m sorry, I had to get this off my chest,’ she captioned a selfie video on Instagram.
‘If you don’t like my fashion style or my music that’s one thing. But don’t say you can’t dress someone that isn’t a runway size.’
Bebe shared in the video that she had her team reach out to designers to look into getting her a custom dress for the Grammys in February.
